2026 Toyota Tacoma Trims & Pricing in Dallas, TX

The 2026 Toyota Tacoma arrives with strong credentials. Kelley Blue Book named it the 2026 Best Buy in the midsize-truck category, and the Texas Auto Writers Association named it the 2026 Truck of Texas for the second year running — with the overlanding-focused Trailhunter grade taking top honors after real on- and off-road testing here in Texas. Here’s how the eight-trim lineup is priced, powered, and equipped.

Every gas Tacoma uses a 2.4-liter turbocharged i-FORCE four-cylinder — 228 hp in the SR, up to 278 hp on SR5 and most TRD grades (270 hp with the available six-speed manual) — while the available i-FORCE MAX hybrid makes up to 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque (the Trailhunter is rated at 323 hp). Towing reaches up to 6,500 pounds when properly equipped (6,000 pounds on hybrid models). The hybrid is optional on the TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and Limited, and comes standard on the Trailhunter and TRD Pro.

Maximum towing and payload capacity figures are based on properly equipped vehicles and vary by configuration. Do not exceed any weight rating. See your owner’s manual and the vehicle’s door-jamb label for specific capacities.

How the trims sort out: the SR and SR5 cover work-truck and everyday-value duty; the TRD PreRunner and TRD Sport lean toward street-focused style and on-road dynamics; the TRD Off-Road adds an electronically locking rear differential, available front sway-bar disconnect, and Multi-Terrain Select for the trail; the Limited delivers the most refined cabin; and the Trailhunter (Old Man Emu shocks and 33-inch tires) and TRD Pro (FOX shocks, IsoDynamic performance seats) sit at the top for serious off-road use.

2026 Tacoma Interior & Technology by Trim

Cabin appointments scale clearly with price, so the trim you choose largely determines the materials, screen, and audio you live with day to day.

SR Fabric 8-inch 4-speaker audio
SR5 Fabric 8-inch 4-speaker audio; convenience upgrades
TRD PreRunner Fabric 8-inch 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster
TRD Sport Fabric or available SofTex 8-inch (14-inch available) 6-speaker audio; 12.3-inch cluster
TRD Off-Road Fabric or available SofTex 8-inch (14-inch available) 6-speaker audio; 12.3-inch cluster
Limited Heated & ventilated SofTex, 8-way power 14-inch 10-speaker JBL w/ portable speaker; head-up display; moonroof; walnut accents
Trailhunter Heated & ventilated SofTex (Mineral) 14-inch JBL premium audio; 12.3-inch cluster
TRD Pro IsoDynamic Performance (Black or Cockpit Red SofTex) 14-inch JBL premium audio; 12.3-inch cluster

At the entry point, the SR and SR5 keep it simple with durable fabric seats, an 8-inch touchscreen, and a four-speaker audio system. Moving up, the TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road keep the 8-inch screen standard but add two more speakers and make SofTex synthetic-leather upholstery available, with the larger 14-inch touchscreen offered as an option. Every trim above the SR and SR5 also gains a customizable 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

The Limited is where the cabin changes character: standard heated and ventilated SofTex front seats with eight-way power adjustment, a heated steering wheel, walnut burl-wood accents, a 14-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker JBL premium audio system with a removable JBL FLEX portable speaker, a head-up display, and a power moonroof. The off-road flagships pair capability with comfort — the Trailhunter gets Mineral-colored heated and ventilated SofTex seats for long trips off-grid, and the TRD Pro introduces the segment-first IsoDynamic Performance front seats, an air-over-oil system that stabilizes the head and neck over rough terrain, finished in Black or Cockpit Red SofTex.

Across the lineup, Toyota Audio Multimedia with wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ is standard, along with dual USB-C ports and available wireless charging.
