Performance & Capability
Under the hood, the 2023 Kia Forte LXS features a 2L I-4 DOHC aluminum block engine with D-CVVT variable valve control that generates 147HP. Paired with an efficient CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) featuring Sportmatic Sequential shift control, this Front Wheel Drive sedan delivers smooth, seamless acceleration across all driving conditions. Fuel efficiency is a key highlight of this powertrain, offering EPA ratings of 28 MPG city and 39 MPG highway. Handling remains balanced and controlled thanks to an independent strut front suspension and a semi-independent rear torsion beam setup with gas-pressurized shock absorbers. Drivers can customize their steering feel and throttle response using the driver selectable drivetrain mode, while Electronic Stability Control and Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) provide reassuring stability. The exterior setup is rounded out by 16-inch machined aluminum wheels with painted accents fitted with P205/55HR16 all-season tires. If you have questions about performance, feel free to call our dealership at (945) 239-2636 today.
Technology & Connectivity
Inside the cabin, the Forte LXS keeps you connected and informed through an intuitive suite of driver-centric technology. The dashboard is anchored by an 8-inch primary display touchscreen supporting Apple CarPlay & Android Auto smart device integration for easy access to your favorite navigation apps, playlists, and hands-free messaging. Audio is delivered through a 4-speaker system with AM/FM capabilities, complemented by Bluetooth handsfree wireless device connectivity and a front 1 USB port. Directly ahead of the driver, a 4.2-inch gauge cluster display provides essential vehicle trip and diagnostic information. Advanced safety tech included in the LXS Technology Package offers comprehensive driver awareness features such as Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Lane Following Assist (LFA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist-Rear (BCA-R), and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance (RCCA).
